I got a computer in front of me and a laptop to my left, a computer in my pocket I make calls with/ if there’s somethin’ I wanna peep it’s right at my fingertips, ‘cuz life is not complete with out infinite internet/ I was told that in my 8-track, some of the circuitry is more sophisticated than 1960’s spaceships/ but I do my own moon landings a true champion too fancy to do badly/ the age is digital, without computers you’d hate your living room, aye that cable’s getting loose – tighten it up like/ if the computers come to life then we’re fucked, predictin’ the stock market watch the prices adjust/ it used to be: if you got a nickel, put that in the computer called the juke box, then get up and dance/ now everybody’s got one in their wrist and their hands, shit they even wanted me to put a chip in my cat, I’m like, “seriously?”

The screen looks at me so majestic and bright, it’s so essential, and answers my questions all right/ when I’m scared of extra-terrestrial life, the computers protect me at night/ the tell me they ought not to give me fear, but I think the ‘bots will get us before the apocalypse is here/ it’s ominous, but it seems so obvious, the hands of time are controlled by satellites and rocket thrusts/ you’re slippin’ if you don’t think they can think, Playstation 3 ain’t just a video game machine/ I’m so dependent on technology when I’m making beats – you can hear the A.I. in the bass line/ but if the world is taken over by robots HOLLER, yall’r in hot water and I’m not bothered/ if I get assimilated I’ll just join the ’bots and be the one to kill John Connor…cuz you know I stay connected
